Maclay boys, Chiles girls earn regional cross country titles

It was a big day for Big Bend cross country teams at regionals on Saturday at Alligator Lake Park in Lake City.

The Chiles girls earned the team title in the Region 1-3A meet, led by first-place finisher Lily Williams.

The Maclay boys won the Region 1-1A meet, led by first-place finisher Travis Covert. The Maclay girls placed second, but Stefanie Kurgatt won the individual title.
